By using GoToolsOnline ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and the site's operator, Ben Praveen J, based in Tamil Nadu, India. The Service is provided free of charge; there is no subscription, no paid tier, and no account to create. Use of the Service is offered on a take-it-or-leave-it basis, and continued use constitutes acceptance.
GoToolsOnline provides 164+ free online tools for images, PDFs, text, and media — including Image Compressor, Remove Background, Merge/Split PDF, QR Code Generator, Word Counter, JSON Formatter, and many more. Some tools run entirely in your browser and never transmit data; others send files or text to our servers for processing and then discard them immediately after the response is returned. We do not retain your uploads as a permanent archive, nor do we resell, share, or repurpose the data you submit. A few features rely on third-party APIs (for example, currency conversion or language translation); these are clearly labelled on the relevant tool page and in our Privacy Policy, and by using them you understand that the necessary request data is sent to the third-party service for the sole purpose of completing your request.
When you upload files or paste content into our tools, you retain all rights to your content. We do not claim ownership of user-uploaded content. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that:

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GoToolsOnline and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may update these terms from time to time as the Service evolves, the law changes, or the way files are processed shifts (for example, if a third-party API is added or removed). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent revision. Material changes — those that meaningfully alter your rights or obligations — will also be announced on the home page for a reasonable period. Your continued use of the Service after a revision becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree with a change, your recourse is to stop using the Service.
GoToolsOnline uses a small number of third-party services to operate. Google AdSense serves advertisements that fund hosting; Google Analytics helps me understand broad traffic patterns (IP addresses are hashed before storage and no user profiles are built). A handful of specific tools call external APIs — for example, the currency calculator relies on public exchange-rate data, and translation features may route text through a recognised machine-translation provider. These integrations are described in the Privacy Policy. I do not sell, rent, or share your data with any party beyond what is strictly necessary to deliver a tool you have chosen to use.
There is no sign-up, no login, no paid plan, and no credit-card form anywhere on GoToolsOnline. Every tool on this site is free to use without creating an account. Because there is nothing to subscribe to, there is nothing to cancel and no refunds to process. If you encounter a page that asks you to pay or sign up, it is not GoToolsOnline — please report it to contact@gotoolsonline.com so I can investigate.
I reserve the right to suspend, rate-limit, or permanently block access for any user who violates these terms, whether through abuse of the tools, attempts to circumvent security measures, or use of automated scripts that place an unreasonable load on the server. Termination is usually invisible (an IP or client-fingerprint is simply blocked at the reverse proxy). I also reserve the right to discontinue any tool, or the Service as a whole, at any time without notice; this is a free service run by one person and I may need to retire features that become unsustainable to maintain.
These Terms of Use, and any dispute arising from your use of the Service, are governed by the laws of India without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Tamil Nadu, India. If you are using the Service from outside India, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with your local laws.
