Who We Are

The site launched in 2024 and serves users worldwide. We process files for your request and do not retain uploads after processing. We maintain strict security standards including HTTPS encryption, input validation, rate limiting, and anonymized analytics.

Why I Built This

Every time I needed to compress a PDF, resize an image, or format some JSON, I ran into the same problems: tools that demanded signups, slapped watermarks on output, limited free usage to two tasks per day, or uploaded my files to unknown servers with unclear data policies. I wanted something different — tools that just work, instantly, with no strings attached.

GoToolsOnline is built with FastAPI (Python) on the backend, using battle-tested libraries like Pillow for image processing, PyMuPDF for PDF operations, and FFmpeg for media conversion. The frontend is lightweight vanilla JavaScript — no heavy frameworks, no unnecessary complexity. Every design decision prioritizes speed, privacy, and simplicity.

This is not a venture-backed startup. It is one developer solving real problems, one tool at a time.

Operational Transparency

We keep our processing predictable and time-bounded: uploads are used to complete the tool action you start, results are returned for download, and older temporary sessions are cleaned up automatically.
